Sergios Manarakis

Sergios Manarakis is Lawyer at the Supreme Court of Greece; member of the Athens Bar Association since 2002 with significant experience in judicial and non-judicial dispute resolution, and in the fields of Commercial Law, Restructuring and Insolvency. He holds LL.B. from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and LL.M. from the University of Edinburgh.

Sergios Manarakis was trained and accredited as Mediator by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 2009 and 2010 respectively. Οne of the first Mediators of the Greek Law 3898/10 (and subsequently Law 4640/2019) accredited by the Ministry of Justice.

He supports Mediation as the ideal Alternative Dispute Resolution method.

As a father of three, he has a particular interest in School Mediation, a decisively method to prevent violence at all levels of education.

He is currently vice-president of the Hellenic Union of Mediators.
